Saint Margaret's College has eleven Welfare Staff members, one per floor. These are senior students who provide pastoral and academic support to their floor and help with the smooth running of the College. They can be approached at any time with problems or general questions.
Amanda Early: Hey I'm Amanda and I come from the most beautiful part of our country, Wellington! In 2012 I will be studying 3rd year Medicine. I love cheerleading, dancing and any performing arts. I hope to bring a bubbly and social personality to the Staff Team. Can't wait for 2012!!
Anna Brightmore: Hey I'm Anna from the now very shaky Christchurch. I'm currently studying 3rd year Pharmacy. I love meeting new people and organizing fun events for everyone to get involved in and I am always ready for a good chat. I can't wait to meet you all and get to know you and I look forward to seeing where 2012 takes us with endless opportunities available.
Bridget Gordon: Hey, I'm Bridget and I've ventured down south from Hamilton . This year I'll be studying 3rd year Med and I love sports and dancing. I'll bring a big smile and lots of fun to an awesome team. I'm full of energy, so I can’t wait to get out there with you all and enjoy everything St Margaret’s has to offer. 2012, here we come!!
Hannah Pincott: Hey my name's Hannah and Wellington is my hometown. This year I'm studying 3rd year Med and I'm really excited about 2012, it's going to be awesome. I hope to bring everything I've got to the Team including my passion for life and a bright smile!
Elizabeth Meyer: Hey I’m Liz, all the way from the bottom of the South Island, in Invercargill! I will now be completing my 4th year of University study for a MusB (Hons). Music is one of my passions, so I love what I’m studying! I’d like to think of myself adding encouragement, support and creativity to the mix!
Lavan Sivaraja: Sup Guys, I’m Lavan and I’m from Wellington. I will am in my 2nd year at Otago doing a BSc majoring in Physiology. Looking forward for 2012 and the upcoming challenges, it’s going to be an AWESOME year.
Lottie Legge: Hey Guys! I’m Lottie and I like to call the mighty Horowhenua home! I’m in my second year at Uni studying second year medicine. I am really excited about the year ahead and being able to contribute to the Welfare Staff Team my bright personality and sense of fun. 2012 is going to be a great year and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the new faces.
Philip Allan: Hey I’m Philip from the battered but resolute city of Christchurch. I’m currently in my second year of Otago studying medicine. Apart from my studies, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, running and photography. I bring a welcoming and cheerful persona to the Staff Team. With a dab of inspiration, a splash of support and a dollop of enthusiasm I hope to help you all have a fantastic 2012!
Richard Silk: Hi everyone. I'm Richard and come from sunny Auckland, but please don't hold that against me! I am currently in the third year at Otago studying Med. I loved my first and second years here at the College and am really looking forward to being a Welfare Staff Member for another year and sharing all the amazing opportunities that St Margaret's has to offer. I look forward to getting to know you, having loads of fun and making 2012 the best year ever!
Sarah Jones: Hey guys, I’m Sarah and I’ve come all the way up from the very popular city of Invercargill ! This year I’ll be in my second year of studying Economics and Finance. I love what I study, and also my time at university so far, so I’m excited to help others get the most out of their time here also! Yathen Jayaweera: Hi guys, I'm Yathen Jayaweera from Whangarei and I’m in my second year. I am honoured and humbled to be part of the Welfare Staff team! I am both fun-loving and hard-working so I hope to bring a balanced leadership role to the team as well as adding my ability to adapt to situations. My hobbies include sport, public speaking and music so if you have any questions during the year, please don't hesitate to ask me - it's a good way for us both to learn! A stupid question to me is one that is not asked - we all learn by asking questions! I hope that we all have a marvellous year, let's get stuck in!
