Fees

Fee information and important dates for 2013 are outlined below.

All amounts are in New Zealand dollar and are payable by cash, cheque, direct credit, telegraphic transfer, or credit card (a 3% + GST surcharge applies for credit card payments). Any and all bank fees associated with transferring funds are borne by the applicant. Any bank fees unaccounted for in the amount transferred will be recouped.

Initial Fees (paid upon acceptance of a place)

$900 comprising:

$400 Non-refundable Administration Fee

$250 Bond that is refundable less deductions incurred (less deductions incurred) [1]

$120 Building Levy (refundable if people withdraw by Friday, 18 Jan, 2013)

$130 Resident Association Fee (refundable for new students if they withdraw by Friday, 18 Jan, 2013)

2013 Accommodation Fees

Fees are paid three times yearly or as a single discounted payment

Payment due dates are 18th January, 30th April, 30th July. If all fees are paid on or by Friday 20st January, the rate is:

Refunds

Refunds are not given when students have extra holidays during the year or absent themselves from the College.

Residential Dates

The fees above cover accommodation for the period Friday 15th February to 24 hours after the student's last exam or Sunday 10th November, whichever is earlier [2]

Room Telephones 2013 

Telephones are available in rooms during the year. The cost of this is as follows:

Students may use dial-up internet access from their rooms if they have a phone set up, however wireless Internet is available free of charge for University students.

At the beginning of the year the IT Manager will notify students of the deadline to pay for phones. Any late phone installations will then incur a $10.00 late fee and a full year charge of $260.

 [2] Fees are paid up until 24 hours after the last exam. In the interests of those still studying Members are required to leave within 24 hours of the last exam. Any exemption will only be given by the Master and a daily charge will be levied.
